We are proud to introduce Excellent Top® Pure Oven, an innovative hardsized GC2 virgin fiber cartonboard specially developed for applications where food is heated directly. With the addition of “Oven” to the trusted Excellent Top Pure name, we clearly underline that this board is suitable for use in both conventional ovens and microwaves.
Excellent Top® Pure Oven meets the strict requirements of Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR XXXVI/2) and is certified for direct food contact at high temperatures. The board can withstand temperatures of 200°C for up to 60 minutes or 220°C for up to 30 minutes in the oven. It is also suitable for microwave use for up to 5 minutes at 800 watts. This makes it an ideal solution for applications such as airline catering, ready meals and foodservice packaging.
We produce Excellent Top® Pure Oven at our Baiersbronn mill without the use of Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs). This supports food safety and responds to the growing demand for natural and sustainable packaging materials. The hardsized cartonboard is fully recyclable and can be easily processed on existing packaging lines.
With Excellent Top® Pure Oven, we offer a versatile solution that combines food safety, heat resistance and sustainability.
